My Second Week In The MTC!
This week has been a lot better than last week. I've been able to settle in some more. But still I can't
wait to get out of here and get to Cape Town. Idk if this is disrespectful but the other elders and i call this place spirit prison lol.

My favorite thing we did this week was going to the Johannesburg temple. It was really cool. It was a lot smaller than the Draper temple, but it was cool. It was nice to get out of the mtc and see where i am because i haven't been able to. It's really pretty but Joburg is honestly really dirty. There's a ton of trash on the street. Teachers have told us Cape Town is not as bad so I hope they're right. Also at the temple I was able to see some people from Draper that were here on a humanitarian trip, that was nice.
I've still been doing my 100 pushups in the morning. Then during the day I play wall ball, basketball, or run. Then at night I do 200 regular pushups, 100 diamond pushups, 150 situps, and then I stole the dumbless from the little gym they have here and do workouts with them before I go to bed.
The other elders and sneak into the office and use the intercome for fun sometimes. There's not a lot of things to do here when we have free time so we have to find things to entertain ourselves. All of us elders have become a lot closer to her and some of them are actually pretty funny.
Spiritually I've grown a lot throughout these 2 weeks. I've really enjoyed studying the scriptures, I find a lot of peace in them. I've had a lot of questions about the Book of Mormon and by praying and asking heavenly father I've received many answers to those prayers which has helped grow my testimony a lot more.
