This week was good. It was the start of another transfer. I have already been here in Queenstown and Illinge for 4 1/2 months. It's gone by so fast. I'm guessing this will be my last transfer here, but who knows, lol.

Zive and Sima got confirmed on Sunday. That was pretty cool. Also, our friends Okuhle and Lathitha are preparing to be baptized on the 9th of July in Illinge. So, pray for them.

I had an exchange with Elder Lindblom this week. He's a cool guy, I liked spending the day with him. It's nice to get to be with an American Elder for the day just because we understand each other better, have more in common, etc. But on our exchange these 2 little boys followed us through Illinge for like 2 miles. They were just walk right behind us the whole time. Even when we went into a lesson, when we came back out, they were waiting outside the door the entire lesson, lol. They were so funny. They talked to us the whole time as we were walking, but they didn't speak any English at all, so we had no idea what they were saying, lol. I'll put a video below.

The funniest thing that happened this week was on Tuesday. We were walking through Illinge and out of nowhere this drunk guy appears and comes and shakes my hand, gives me a big hug, and then kisses me on the neck. I was shaken, ha-ha, it happened so fast. Then he did the same thing to Elder Rakotomamonjy. It was truly shocking, but funny. Also Friday, another drunk guy was walking and talking to us telling us how there is an "Umlungu" (means white guy) inside of him. That he knows one day he can become Umlungu. He asked us if we could make him a Umlungu. Elder Linblom and I were laughing so hard. It's a shame though, I feel bad for how much alcohol has a grip on these people. It's really sad to see. The only stores they have in Illinge are taverns. There's not even a grocery store. Sad to see people spend the limited money they have mostly on alcohol.

The work is going great here, we're just starting to find some more potential friends to teach and continuing the lessons with all our recent converts. I'm loving my mission though; this truly is a great work.

A chapter I really enjoyed studying this week was Jacob 2. It really is a powerful chapter.  This is where Jacob denounces the love of riches, pride, and unchastity. These things are way to prominent in our day, which is sad. But Jacob reminds us to humble ourselves before the Lord and His commandments. Teaches us in what way we should view others, and makes it very clear on how God feels about chastity. I suggest that you all go read and study it. There are many great truths we can learn here. Verses 13-18 are a few of my favorite in this chapter.

"13 And the hand of providence hath smiled upon you most pleasingly, that you have obtained many riches; and because some of you have obtained more abundantly than that of your brethren ye are lifted up in the pride of your hearts, and wear stiff necks and high heads because of the costliness of your apparel, and persecute your brethren because ye suppose that ye are better than they.

14 And now, my brethren, do ye suppose that God justifieth you in this thing? Behold, I say unto you, Nay. But he condemneth you, and if ye persist in these things his judgments must speedily come unto you.

15 O that he would show you that he can pierce you, and with one glance of his eye he can smite you to the dust!

16 O that he would rid you from this iniquity and abomination. And, O that ye would listen unto the word of his commands, and let not this pride of your hearts destroy your souls!

17 Think of your brethren like unto yourselves, and be familiar with all and free with your substance, that they may be rich like unto you.

18 But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God."
