Michelle

-Highlight of the week was definitely Michelle's baptism. It was a super special day for her. She's going to be a powerful member. God is good!

- We baked Sister LeRoux a birthday cake because her kids didn't do anything for her. Which is really sad & messed up. She was super grateful, we love her. She's really sweet. Don't take your mom for granted. (I love you mom)

-A funny old guy was screaming at us on Wednesday while we were table contacting. He was getting really mad about The Book of Mormon calling us ministers of satan and bunch of other nasty stuff. And he really didn't like to when we told him we celebrate Christmas. However while he was getting his built up anger out on us, I couldn't help but think how someone who confesses to be a Christian and have it right could be so evil. He was full of contention, some people are controlled so much by the devil in ways they can't even see. ("14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:")

- We got some new standards for this Christmas season. So, in Townships we aren't allowed to wear proselytizing clothes. It has to be just smarter regular clothes like a polo. And have to be out of townships at 5:30. Which is pretty terrible. But I know President Stringham receives inspiration for us and the mission.

-Elder Morin crashed our car this week. That was pretty bad. It wasn't a bad crash at all. But my guy just decides to whip a U turn on the busiest street in our area with no turn signal at all. Luckily no real damage and everyone was totally fine. Except one lady it the other car got out and was screaming at Elder Morin and how her baby is now traumatized. Elder Morin looked pretty shocked hahah. Could've been worse, God is good.

-Bro Mananga the man gave us a new friend to teach. His name is Kamva and he's 20 and is looking to improve his life spiritually and to find truth. He wants to make some big changes, he said "this road I'm about to go on is scary." But he's said he's committed to change his life for the better. He's prepared I can feel it. Literally a golden investigator. He came to church Sunday and Michelle's baptism. We'll start teaching him this week with Bro Mananga. Such a blessing grateful for the opportunity to teach him.

- Matthew 12:30
"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

Choose Christ. He is the only way. I love the Savior, this is His church! I have felt the enabling power the the atonement a LOT recently. And I can say I know He is in the details. We must just simply do as the Savior says and, "Come unto me". Seek the yoke of Christ tbrough his Atoning sacrifice, you will receive strength. Church is true, enough said!

Merry Christmas!
