Lots Of Baptisms!
-This week was really powerful! We saw so many miracles in our area and zone. We had 5 baptisms this past Sunday! Onam, Live, Zukhanye, Unathi, and Andile all got baptized on Sunday. Also, Thando was confirmed as well. God Is good!
-We started the week by having an MLC with Elder Aidukaitis in Cape Town on Monday and Tuesday. He was really fired up on us to increase our finding efforts. Something he said that stuck with me was: "Why would it happen to you if your desire is 0?". Elder Roberts and I took that back with us to our area this week and man have we been blessed because of just our desire to find those who are prepared. So many new friends to teach this coming week! On Friday we had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Aidukaitis. Which again was powerful. Elder Aidukaitis gave us a really great way to find and connect with family and friends. He taught us to find through those who are being baptized. To sit down with each of them with a pad and pen and write down all those that they want to be at their baptism. Family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, boss, everyone lol. Then we go and invite each one personally to our friend's baptism. Elder Roberts and I decided to get to it as fast as possible considering all the baptisms we had this past Sunday. We went to each of our friends and did this with all of them. Then we went and invited as many as we could in just a day and a half. And let me tell you it was very inspiring. For the baptisms on Sunday the whole chapel was full of family and friends of Onam, Live, Zukhanye, Unathi, and Andile! Most of which were not members.
-There was such a strong spirt during the Baptismal service. My favorite part had to be hearing our friends who were just baptized share their testimonies of our Savior, the Book of Mormon, the church and how it has changed their life. It was powerful to hear their testimonies, they're already so strong.
-Elder Kruger and I fought 4 dogs on our exchange together, we won. lol. It will be nice to be home with dogs that aren't trying to kill me.
-Alma 58:10-11
"10 Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us out of the hands of our enemies, yea, and also give us strength that we might retain our cities, and our lands, and our possessions, for the support of our people.
11 Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him."
