Qha!

-"Qha" my favorite word in Xhosa, meaning "that's all" or "done". This is my last email, crazy. I start the long way home tomorrow morning. Honestly it doesn't feel real. I'm waiting for someone to say, "jk you're not going home". It's been feeling more real everyday though. As I think about these last few months and even weeks here in Mdantsane, my heart Is full of gratitude for the miracles we witnessed. Nothing can replace what these last few weeks have meant to me. -Before I share a testimony I wanted to share some highlights of this past week. On Tuesday we put our friend Nonkoliso and her daughter Inathi on date for baptism, June 30th! Sad I won't be here to see it, but I'm so happy for their decision to make that sacred covenant with our Father. They are such a strong and humble family. It's incredible to hear them bear their testimonies of the restored gospel. Truly they are made for the gospel! We played s...

Trio

- We had transfers this week. We picked up our new comp Elder Kennedy. So now we're in a trio for my last week. It's been good so far and I'm excited, Elder Kennedy and I are buds. The rest of the transfer day was just spent driving around Elders from one area to their new area, which is always fun lol.  -  This last Sunday, one of our recent converts Andile Magwaca received the priesthood! We went over to his home and helped him practice and prepare to bless the sacrament on Sunday. When Sunday came around, Andile did so good! So powerful to see him take part in such a sacred ordinance.  - On Thursday we had exchanges. Elder Manganye came and joined me. We had such a powerful lesson with Nonkoliso and her daughter Inathi. We taught them all about baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I asked them to pray about of baptism and to see if it is what God wants them to do at this time in their lives.
