Trio

- We had transfers this week. We picked up our new comp Elder Kennedy. So now we're in a trio for my last week. It's been good so far and I'm excited, Elder Kennedy and I are buds. The rest of the transfer day was just spent driving around Elders from one area to their new area, which is always fun lol.

-  This last Sunday, one of our recent converts Andile Magwaca received the priesthood! We went over to his home and helped him practice and prepare to bless the sacrament on Sunday. When Sunday came around, Andile did so good! So powerful to see him take part in such a sacred ordinance.

- On Thursday we had exchanges. Elder Manganye came and joined me. We had such a powerful lesson with Nonkoliso and her daughter Inathi. We taught them all about baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I asked them to pray about of baptism and to see if it is what God wants them to do at this time in their lives. As I was talking, our member's brother said "Elders can I say something?" and he then looked Nonkoliso in the eyes and said, "Will you be baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints". Nonkoliso without hesitation said, "Yes!" Same with her daughter, the spirit was so strong. I'm grateful for Brother Otim and for him following the spirit and being bold. It was a great experience for me. The next day we taught our friend Lihlumo and there was a similar situation. Elder Roberts gave him a "soft" baptismal invitation and I remembered what happened the day before. So, I looked at him and said, "Will you be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ?" And without hesitation Lihlumo said, "Yes!"  It is so important to be bold when given spiritual promptings to say or do something.

- Sunday was hectic we had a crazy rainstorm. It had been raining for like 3 days straight and Sunday was the heaviest rain. The rain caused rivers in the streets, flooding of all sorts of stuff. Church attendance was very sad. I swear Africans are allergic to the rain! If it's raining, there is no way they are leaving the house. However, we still had the baptisms. Khanya is one of the most spiritual little kids I've meet, and he was so excited. Afterwards he bore his testimony and it was a sweet moment.

- Monday was my last real p-day considering I'll be flying to Cape Town next Monday and then flying home next Monday night. It is definitely weird, and it has started to hit me a bit that I'm actually leaving. It is just unreal to me. But I'll send one last email next week, so I'll save the testimony for then.

- "Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth." Mormon 9:21
